Prayer for recovery

Lord my God, Lord over life and death! What words can I thank You for the healing given to me from the disease! Your saving right hand raised me up, saving me from pain, suffering and fear of death. I praise and magnify, Lord, Your life-giving and miraculous power. I thank You for Your immeasurable mercy, which You showed me beyond my merits. I pray to you: teach me to value the life you have given me and take care of the integrity of my soul no less than the health of my body; teach me to avoid sin and always keep Thy commandments in order to achieve eternal joy in Thy Kingdom.
